I am an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner working along with my experienced colleague Melanie Spencer, PA-C, and her team at PrimeLife in and Ames, Iowa, to provide a wide range of science-based health and wellness services.

After providing more than a decade in nursing care to patients of all ages and across all stages of care, I know that patients are not a one-size fits all approach, and I pride myself on providing personalized and compassionate care.

​I am a licensed nurse practitioner in the state of Iowa, with a Masters Degree in Nursing from Walden University specializing in Adult Gerontology Acute Care. I also am certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) as an Adult Gerontological Acute Care Nurse Practitioner and maintain active privileges at Mercy Des Moines as a Hospitalist.

I’m ready to join you on your journey to optimal health and well-being with a trusting patient-provider partnership, to form a plan of care combining traditional medicine with a more holistic approach, and focusing on preventing disease while helping you get well, stay well, and feel your very best.

When not caring for patients, I enjoy going to the gym, reading, and just relaxing at home with my husband and four children.”
