I started my nursing career as a Certified Nurse’s aide in high school. I married my high school sweetheart, Joe and we had three beautiful children. After baby number 3 was born I decided to go back to school and my associate’s degree in nursing at Kirkwood in Cedar Rapids. I have been a registered nurse for well over 2 decades. I recent obtained my Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, proving you really can teach an old dog new tricks. My career has taken me to the ER, ICU, Medical-Surgical unit, Cardiology clinic to management. My path crossed with each one of the wonderful ladies that make up PrimeLife. I was drawn to clinic, first as a patient and then as a nurse. I love the time the providers spend with each client and tailor a plan of care to meet their needs.
